Department of Microbiological and toxicological analysis
Description
Bacteriological analysis is based on the compliance with the legal regulations in water, food, grugs, drugstore products, etc.
Food and water technical-sanitary regulations ensure the innocuousness and food safety and they support in microbiological analysis fundamentally. International Pharmacopoeia especifies organisms to control and the maxium levels to can market that kind of products.
We make environmental and superficial control to check the cleanliness and disinfection systems. Clean rooms, sterility controls, etc.
Instrumental
Complete equipment to sterilization and work aseptic conditions to guaratee the optimal conditions of analysis, highlighting: laminal flow cabinets, autoclaves, farming heater to incubation to different temperatures automatic planting diluter, freezer, refrigerators, heating baths, filtration water ramps, anaerobiosis jars, weighing scales, regular scales agitators, stomacker and molecular biology equipment for the bacterial identification.
Analysis
- Food: Drinking and packaged waters, foodstuffs, convenience foods, natural sweeteners, stimulating foodstuffs, spices and condiments, fishes and shellfish, raw materials: cereals, vegetables, legumes, seed, vegetable products, fruit, meat products, dairy products, milks, butters, flours, semolina and derivatives, diet food, oils and fat, wines and alcohol, eggs products, sauces and nuts.
- Animal feed: Raw feed materials to feedstuffs, cereals and flour, corn, wheat, barley, straight and compound feedstuffs, previous remix, additives, ground, leafs and seeds, hay, fodder and dry vegetables and by-products to animal feed.
Parameters
We analyse a large number of microorganisms and pollution indicators teams of food, water, drugs, surfaces, environment, plastics and fibres, according to internationals rules like ISO standards, AFNOR, UNE, Standard Methods, Officials methods of MAPA, european and national pharmacopoeia, FDA, USDA, BS, AOCS, AOAC, ICC, FIL, IDF, OIV, AACC, CENAN recomendation, all of this to control: mesophilic aerobic, anaerobic, aerobic an anaerobic spores, lactobacillus, streptococcus, enterococcus, molds, yeasts, sulfite- reducing, anaerobes bacilli, Pseudomonas, Micrococcus, lactic bacteria, psychrotrophic bacteria, lipolytic yeasts, yeasts osmophilic, halophilic bacteria…
All specific micro-organisms, highlight: Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, Salmonella spp, Shigella, Clostridium perfringens, Escherichia coli 0157 ( Entero-hemorragico), Campylobacter jejuni, Vibrio colerae, Vibrio parahemolíticus, Listeria spp, Listeria monocytogenes, Pseudomona aureoginosa, Legionella pheumophyla.
We make bacterial identification studies of specific species by biochemistry identification techniques to reach specific identification, included the serologic identification, including through molecular biologycal analysis by DNA studies through Polymerase chain reaction (PCR). This way, we identify specific strains of moulds and yeasts according to morphological classification and the biochemical properties. We identify microorganisms constituents in drinking and waste water: protozoa, filamentous bacteria – bulking effect.
We make effectiveness measures of cleaning and disinfection products for some specific strains of becterias strain collections and moulds of the spanish type culture collection.
